One thing to know before you start
Toner-reactive foil bonds to laser printed toner, so whichever machine you choose, you'll also need access to a laser printer (inkjet prints won't foil at all). Print your design in solid black on a laser printer, lay your foil shiny side up over the top, run it through the machine, and peel back to reveal the shine.
