The Foil Edit toner reactive foil products are decorative craft foils designed for use with laser-printed toner and a compatible laminator or foiling machine. Please read the safety information below before use.
Intended Use
· For decorative craft, stationery, card making, invitation and packaging design projects.
· For use with laser-printed toner on paper or card only.
· Not suitable for direct food contact or direct application to skin.
· Not a toy. Adult supervision is required if used by children.
Usage Instructions
· Print the design using a laser printer or toner-based printing method. Toner reactive foil will not react to inkjet ink.
· Place the foil over the toner-printed design with the reactive side facing the toner.
· Use a compatible laminator or foiling machine and follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
· Do not feed loose foil directly into a printer.
· Allow laminated/foiled items to cool before handling.
Warnings and Precautions
· Keep out of reach of children under 8 years of age. Foil rolls and small offcuts can present choking or entanglement hazards if misused.
· Keep away from food, beverages and pets. Do not ingest.
· Keep away from open flames, excessive heat and direct sunlight.
· Do not leave a laminator or foiling machine unattended while switched on.
· Use in a well-ventilated area and follow your laminator or foiling machine instructions.
· Store in a cool, dry place and keep packaging away from small children.
Risks Associated with Improper Use
· Using foil with inkjet printing will not produce the intended foiling effect and may result in wasted material.
· Incorrect temperature settings may cause poor adhesion, foil transfer issues or damage to the laminator/foiling machine.
· Misuse of foil rolls or offcuts, including wrapping around body parts, may cause injury.
· Touching hot equipment or freshly heated materials may cause burns. Allow items to cool before handling.
