The Foil Edit is a small UK business with a simple obsession: helping makers get that flawless, luxurious foiled finish, without the trial, error and wasted card stock we went through ourselves.

Hi, I'm Mel

I'm the founder of The Foil Edit, and I've spent the last four years foiling: testing machines, printers, card stocks and every foil I could get my hands on. All that trial, error and wasted card stock mentioned above? That was me, at my own desk. Every foil in this shop earned its place by transferring cleanly on real projects: wedding invitations, personalised tickets, greeting cards and small business stationery. If a foil doesn't perform, it doesn't get listed. Simple as that.

We sell premium toner reactive foils in holographic, metallic, satin matte and patterned finishes, alongside smooth 330gsm black card stock chosen specifically because foil looks stunning against it.

Why we're different

Foiling is a craft with a learning curve, and most suppliers leave you to figure it out alone. We don't. I wrote The Toner Foiling Guide: ten modules covering machines, printers, card stocks and troubleshooting, based on hands-on testing (including the products that failed, so you don't have to buy them to find out). When you buy from us, you're buying the know-how as well as the foil.

The practical bits

Orders are packed carefully in the UK and dispatched within 2 working days via Royal Mail or DPD, with free UK delivery on orders over £20. Pick 3 foils and save 10%, pick 5 and save 15%, applied automatically at checkout. We also ship to the United States and Canada.
